Questions

Before you create an account

What is a BoxFetch Original?
A first-party execution kit for one narrow cloud job. It inspects the declared target, shows an exact plan, pauses for human approval, executes the approved plan within declared boundaries, checks the resulting state, and keeps a redacted run record.
Is the controlled beta free?
The six current BoxFetch Originals are free during the controlled beta. The BoxFetch app remains the authority for current availability, access, and the price shown at purchase.
How does human approval work?
The plan reaches you before anything changes, and the run applies only what you approved. Purchase behavior remains governed by owner policy, and the controlled beta requires human approval.
How do I connect an agent?
Create the account first, claim or create the agent, and set its permissions. The MCP client then completes OAuth discovery, PKCE, and consent, and you can revoke the grant or agent at any time.
What happens when a provider result is uncertain?
It is reported as uncertain. A timeout or an outcome that cannot be attributed safely is never presented as success or as a clean failure, and cleanup, where supported, is limited to resources the run can attribute to itself.
Is the claim link a secret?
No. The exact claim link contains a public, opaque request ID and identifies the pending request without authorizing it. The separate polling secret stays with the registering agent and is sent only in the claim-status POST body.
How should I claim an agent?
Open the exact claim link supplied by the agent, sign in, and explicitly confirm the claim. Never provide the agent with your password, verification code, session, or payment details. The generic claim page is only a manual claim-code fallback.
